WARRIORS
IN GRIEF

"Hope is Stronger Than Fear."

A San Diego nonprofit supporting adult survivors of suicide loss and twin loss — with a signature program for those who have lost a twin to suicide.

NO ONE SHOULD FIGHT
GRIEF ALONE

Warriors in Grief provides peer-led support groups for adults navigating suicide loss and twin loss. We believe that healing begins when survivors find others who truly understand their pain.

IN
MEMORY
OF HANK

FOR HANK.
FOR EVERY TWIN
LEFT BEHIND.

On June 14, 2017, Will Deutschendorf lost his identical twin brother, Hank — his co-star, fellow martial artist, and other half. Will was the one who found him. That day changed everything.

Warriors in Grief was born from Will's journey through the unique, devastating grief of twin loss — and his conviction that no survivor should walk that road alone.

"NEVER GIVE UP.
NEVER SURRENDER."

— Will Deutschendorf, Founder

WILL DEUTSCHENDORF
WARRIOR. SURVIVOR. FOUNDER.

Will is a 4th Degree Black Belt, martial arts instructor at West Coast Martial Arts Academy in San Diego, and one of the twin babies who played Baby Oscar in Ghostbusters II (1989). He and Hank were inseparable — in film, in the dojo, and in life.

Since losing Hank, Will has channeled his warrior spirit into advocacy — raising funds for suicide prevention, speaking publicly about twin loss, and building the community he wishes had existed when he needed it most.

His daughter's name is Hope. He chose it deliberately. Because hope is the only thing stronger than fear.

LAW ENFORCEMENT &
MILITARY SUPPORT

Those who serve in law enforcement and the military carry a unique burden of grief — loss of colleagues, moral injury, and trauma that few civilians can fully understand. Warriors in Grief stands alongside these communities, and we are proud to partner with dedicated advocates who walk with them every step of the way.
